0.6/1 kV Cu/XLPE/PVC Unarmoured Power Cable
N2XY is a low-voltage, XLPE insulated and PVC sheathed unarmoured power cable for fixed distribution systems. ANPU manufactures the copper-conductor construction to IEC 60502-1 and DIN VDE 0276-603; YJV is the corresponding Chinese GB designation.
The 90°C XLPE insulation provides higher thermal capacity than conventional 70°C PVC-insulated cable. N2XY is intended for cable tray, duct, conduit and protected fixed routes. It must not be directly buried without mechanical protection.

Engineer & Procurement FAQ
Is N2XY the same as YJV?

They are functionally equivalent Cu/XLPE/PVC cable designations in different standard systems. N2XY refers to the VDE/IEC family; YJV is the Chinese GB designation. The nominated standard must be stated on the purchase order.
Can N2XY be directly buried?
+
No. N2XY is unarmoured and requires conduit, duct or another approved form of mechanical protection. For direct burial, use N2XBY/YJV22 or N2XRY/YJV32.
What is the difference between N2XY-J and N2XY-O?

-J includes a green-yellow protective-earth conductor. -O is supplied without a green-yellow earth conductor.
What conductor sizes and core counts are available?

Standard project supply covers 1.5–400 mm² and 1–5 cores, including 3+1, 3+2 and 4+1 constructions.
What is the maximum conductor temperature?
+
XLPE insulation is rated for 90°C continuous operation and 250°C for a short circuit of up to five seconds.
Can ANPU supply LSZH or flame-retardant N2XY?
+
Yes. LSZH, flame-retardant and fire-resistant constructions are available when the required standard and fire classification are stated at RFQ stage.
What test documents are available?

Factory routine test records cover conductor resistance, AC withstand, insulation resistance, continuity and dimensional inspection. Third-party inspection can be arranged.
What is the MOQ and standard packing?

MOQ is project-based and flexible. Standard cable is supplied on wooden drums, with 500 m, 1,000 m or project-specific drum lengths subject to cable size.
