The first reel of ANPU cable headed for France is packed and waiting for its truck. Our cross-border e-commerce team carried this well-known French supplier from first email to finished goods without a single stumble, and the order lands us squarely inside Europe's most demanding cable market. High-end European buyers award business on documents, tolerances and follow-through rather than on price alone, which makes this win worth celebrating. Years of shipping into Africa, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and the UK gave us the export muscle to satisfy a French customer on the very first attempt.

How the French inquiry reached us

The first email arrived on 11 July 2026, sent through our own website at apscable.com by a French professional supplier working across photovoltaic, new energy, piping and electrical fields. The inquiry contained multiple product requirements in a single message, which is common when a distributor wants to test whether one China cable manufacturer can cover a mixed procurement list. We treated the request as a full supplier evaluation, since a first European order is normally assessed on response speed, specification accuracy and the completeness of supporting documents rather than on price alone.

Packing data, printing and shipping marks

On 14 July the customer requested detailed packing information in order to calculate weight and volume precisely and plan freight cost. Because packing method and segment lengths directly affect the landed price of an imported reel, we worked through drum and coil options, cut lengths and unit weights item by item, then rechecked every figure the customer queried. A complete data table was submitted on 24 July and handed to the forwarder the customer had nominated.

Custom cable marking took similar care. The French side specified the printing content, character size, spacing and the exact position of the shipping marks, and our team confirmed each revision until every detail was approved. Printing and labelling may look like finishing touches, though for a distributor they govern warehouse sorting, traceability and how the goods present themselves to the end client.

Order timeline

The inquiry arrived on 11 July and the packing data was finalised on 24 July. The customer confirmed the order on 31 July, and production was completed on 17 August. After order confirmation, deposit payment, production and balance payment were completed according to the agreed schedule by 20 August. The cargo is now packed and awaiting the customer's shipping instruction.

Cable Solutions Matched to the Customer’s Installation Needs

For renewable energy projects, the customer needed a solar cable that could withstand long-term outdoor exposure, temperature changes and continuous DC operation. We matched this requirement with our PV1-F and H1Z2Z2-K 1500V DC solar cable. Its tinned copper conductor helps reduce oxidation risk during outdoor service, while the cross-linked XLPO insulation and sheath support UV resistance and flame-retardant performance. With an operating range of -40°C to +90°C and a designed service life of 25 years under standard installation conditions, it is suitable for module interconnection, string runs to combiner boxes and DC connections from combiner boxes to inverters. Cross-sections are available from 1.5 mm² to 150 mm², giving buyers more flexibility when matching different PV system layouts.

For fixed power distribution, the main concern is choosing a cable that can carry the required load reliably while fitting different installation routes. Our 0.6/1kV YJV XLPE power cable was selected for this part of the order. Its 90°C continuous conductor rating supports stable operation under normal working conditions, and the size range from 1.5 mm² to 400 mm² helps contractors match cable selection to actual current demand. For projects that involve indoor trays, cable ducts or buried installation, the same product family can also be supplied with steel tape armoured or steel wire armoured structures, reducing the need to source multiple cable types from different suppliers.

The customer also required a flexible cable for working environments where cables may be moved, dragged or exposed to oil, abrasion and weather. For this need, we supplied our H07RN-F heavy duty rubber flexible cable. Class 5 fine-stranded copper keeps the cable easier to bend during installation and daily use, while EPR insulation and a polychloroprene neoprene sheath help protect it in demanding conditions. With sizes from 1 mm² to 50 mm² and core options from 2C to 5C, plus 3+E and 4+E, it can support generators, mobile industrial equipment and outdoor temporary power applications where flexibility and durability matter.

Why the French Market Matters to Us

The French market sets high expectations for cable suppliers, especially in documentation, product marking and packing accuracy. For a first order, these details are often as important as the product itself because they affect compliance review, warehouse handling and final project delivery.

Completing this order showed that our sales team, engineering support, laboratory and production floor can work to the same standards from inquiry to shipment. For future European customers, it also provides a practical reference: ANPU can support not only cable supply, but also the technical confirmation, CE documentation, marking review and packing data required before delivery.
